Music at the Point begins today.
The city of Dunkirk is excited to announce the return of Music at the Point Sunset Concert Series every Wednesday starting today through Aug. 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Point Gratiot. The event is sponsored by Southern Tier Environments for Living, Inc. (STEL), Lawley Insurance and DFT Communications.
Bill Ward is scheduled this Wednesday with upcoming performances to include the following dates/bands: July 17 – Cosmic Cowboys, July 24 (STEL V.I.P. Night) – The Trend, July 31 – Classic Rock Allstars, August 7 – Ion Sky, August 14 (Lawley V.I.P. Night) – The Living Room Jam Band, August 21 – DTO and August 28 – Furious George.
Visitors are reminded to bring a chair, snacks and refreshments and enjoy the sunsets and music at Point Gratiot.
A special thanks goes out to Roger Gloss of Atlas Comfort Cabins/Lawn Mowing/Enviro-Kleen Services for donating the use of the portable toilet located near the music pavilion.
