By WESTBY, Wis. (WEAU) – President Joe Biden is set to visit Westby today to announce investments in infrastructure aiming to bring down the cost of internet in rural areas.
AP reports that Biden will be announcing “$7.3 billion in investments for 16 cooperatives that will provide electricity for rural areas across 23 states.”
The event is invite-only, but WEAU will be providing full live coverage of Biden’s trip to Wisconsin.
Additional livestreams of Biden landing in La Crosse and speaking in Westby will also be available on Facebook and YouTube.
