EA Sports College Football 25 video game player ratings for entire 2024 Penn State roster

A decade later, the football world finally has an updated college football video game. On Monday, EA Sports College Football 25 was released to those who pre-ordered the deluxe edition.

The full game will be available to the public later this week, on July 19.

The last college football video game to grace the shelves was NCAA 14, over ten years ago. The long wait was largely due to issues surrounding the player’s name, image and likeness. Those barriers were sorted in 2021, paving the way for the release of this year’s game.

The Nittany Lions enter with an 88 overall team rating – 87 OVR on offense and 88 OVR on defense. Those ratings put them in the top 10 at No. 9 overall.

Those ratings are an average of Penn State’s depth chart and give slightly higher weight to the higher overall players on the team. Here is a breakdown of the Nittany Lions’s roster with those actual ratings in the new video game:
