Ah, yes, the college football offseason “controversy” portion of the summer has arrived. Next month’s release of EA Sports’ College Football 25 has revealed its top 25 “toughest places to play” in the CFB landscape, and in usual fashion, fans and nearly every media member heavily disagree with the top 10 rankings.
Plenty of exciting changes will be introduced ahead of the 2024 season, starting with the new 12-team playoff structure, which will create much-needed postseason parity. Conference realignment will also take effect as Texas and Oklahoma are headed to the SEC.
Texas A&M’s new head coach, Mike Elko, and his staff have been working hard to reshape the roster while adding plenty of veteran talent through the transfer portal.
Elko’s experience as A&M’s defensive coordinator from 2018-2021 under Jimbo Fisher makes his re-introduction much smoother. Opening the regular season against Notre Dame in Kyle Field is the perfect way to start his head coaching career in College Station.
With all the excitement ahead of us, where does EA Sports rank Kyle Field among the toughest places to play in College Football 25?
