FIFA World Cup Kansas City names Pam Kramer new CEO

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – FIFA World Cup Kansas City (KC2026), the nonprofit leading the FIFA World Cup 26TM in Kansas City, announced the appointment of Pam Kramer as its Chief Executive Officer. 

Kramer has worked with the organization since March as a part-time Chief Operating Officer, providing strategic and operational leadership.

Kramer comes on the heels of previous CEO, Katherine Holland.

Kramer’s career includes 16 years at Sprint. Following her tenure at Sprint, Kramer joined the Kansas City Chiefs before the Kansas City Current retained her as transitional CEO during its start-up phase. Most recently, she worked with the Kansas City Sports Commission.

FIFA World Cup 26™ will include 16 host cities, 48 teams, and 104 matches across the United States.

Kansas City will host six World Cup games on June 16, 20, 25, and 27. Arrowhead Stadium will host four group-stage matches.
