A large fire broke out at New Jersey’s city of Elizabeth on Monday. The local reports about the blaze in Jersey city mentioned that it was caused by an electrical substation. A purported footage of the incident showing was circulated in social media showing thick smoke coming out of the base of Goethals, a pair of cable-stayed bridge spans connecting the city to Staten Island in New York.

It is to be added that none of the authorities in the Jersey City have posted any information about the fire that reportedly broke out at an electrical substation. However, local fire incident watchers posted about the blaze in Elizabeth. According to Central Jersey Fire, the blaze was a two-alarm fire in Trenton Avenue at Bayway Switching Station.

In an another incident a few days ago, a Tesla vehicle crashed into a building in the Jersey city. Two people, who were inside during the accident, sustained critically injuries. The vehicle that smashed into a building caught fire in Elizabeth on Friday morning.

According to the authorities, the vehicle catching fire happened following the accident. It took place at around 5 am, per local time. Crews rushed to the scene after receiving reports of a blaze on the 100 block of Trumbull Street. A city spokeswoman informed the press that those involved in the crash were later transported to local hospitals in the Jersey city. Meanwhile, there is limited information about the current incident.
