Lake Mary Little League nabs regional championship
After clinching the regional championship, the Lake Mary Little League All-Star team returned home on Wednesday afternoon to a warm welcome at the Lake Mary Sports Complex.

One Florida little league is stepping up to the plate to represent the region in the Little League Baseball World Series this week.
The Lake Mary Little League will be competing the worldwide baseball tournament for young athletes in Pennsylvania, with their first game on Wednesday, Aug. 14.

What Florida team is competing in the 2024 Little League World Series?
The Lake Mary Little League will be represent the Southeast region in the 2024 Little League World Series. The team has taken to social media to share their excitement and their journey to the tournament.
“Sorry they skipped school today, but we promise these boys are working hard,” the team joked on Facebook, tagging Seminole County Public Schools to apologize for members missing the first week of school.
Where is Lake Mary, Florida?
Lake Mary is a suburban city that is located in Central Florida’s Seminole County, 18 miles north of Orlando.

Where will the 2024 Little League World Series played?
The Little League Baseball World Series will be played at the Little League International Complex in Williamsport, Pennsylvania from Aug. 14 through Aug. 25.
When will Florida’s team compete in the 2024 Little League World Series?
The Lake Mary Little League will be competing against the Midwest’s Sioux Falls Little League in Game 4 on Wednesday, Aug. 14 at 7 p.m. EST.
If they win the game, they will move on to play against the Northwest’s South Hill Little League in Game 12 on Friday, Aug. 16 at 7 p.m. EST. If they lose, they will play against the loser of Game 6 on Saturday, Aug. 17 at 3 p.m. EST.
