How to Watch 2024 Little League Softball World Series Regionals today – July 25 | Channel, stream, preview

The second-to-last day of regional action in the quest for the Little League Softball World Series sees teams punching their tickets to their resepective championship games.

CENTRAL

Austintown (OH) vs. Clarendon Hills (IL)

  • Time: 10 a.m. ET
  • Where: Central Region Headquarters (Whitestown, Ind.)
  • Stream: ESPN+

Due to bad weather, the quarterfinal matchup between the teams from Ohio and Illinois was moved to Thursday. Winner of this game will play Floyds Knobs later in the afternoon.

Floyds Knobs (IN) vs. Austintown (OH)/Clarendon Hills (IL)

Floyds Knobs started off strong with wins in each of its first three games in the regional. However, they hit a road block when they met the strong team from Columbia (MO), losing 5-1 on Wednesday night.

MID-ATLANTIC

Massapequa Park (NY) vs. Brunswick (MD)

Though Massapequa Park stumbled by losing their second game of the tournament, they responded in a big way by beating Middletown (DE) 4-0 on Wednesday to stay alive. Maryland’s team looked good in their first two games, but took a step back against Greensburg (PA) on Wednesday, getting shut out 3-0.

Winner of this game will face Greensburg in the championship game on Friday.

NEW ENGLAND

Milford (CT) vs. LWorcester (MA)/Cranston (RI)

The team from Connecticut had an inauspicious start, losing their first game to Cranston (RI). However, they bounced back by taking care of Concord (NH) and Gorham (ME) to advance to the semifinal.

SOUTHEAST

McLean (VA) vs. Lake Mary (FL)

  • Time: 10 a.m. ET
  • Where: Little League Southeast Park (Warner Robins, Ga.)
  • Stream: ESPN+

With a 3-1 record, McLean is one win away from playing in the championship game. They have responded with a couple of nail-biting wins, including an all-Virginia battle by beating Huntington on Wednesday. After a strong start to the regional, Lake Mary was served a slice of humble pie when they were beaten up by Salisbury (NC) on Wednesday.

The winner of this game will face the team from North Carolina in the regional final.

SOUTHWEST

Carlsbad (NM) vs. Alamo Heights (TX-West)

After getting smacked 10-0 in their first game of the regional, Carlsbad pulled out a hard-fought win over Columbus (TX-East) on Wednesday, coming out on top of a 6-5 decision. The team out of New Mexico will get another shot at Alamo Heights, as the team out of West Texas fell to Sterlington (LA) on Wednesday.

Alamo Heights beat Carlsbad 10-0 in their first meeting this past Tuesday.

WEST

Dublin (N-CA) vs. Honolulu (HI)

Since losing their first game of the regional, Honolulu has responded with back-to-back wins, in thrilling fashion. They snuck by with wins over Quartz Creek (S-CA) and Washington (UT) to advance to the semifinal. The team from Northern California lost for the first time on Wednesday night, as Dublin lost a tough 6-3 decision to Wilcox (AZ).

NORTHWEST

Billings (MT) vs. Issaquah (WA)

Montana’s team was looking strong early on in the region, but they stumbled against a strong team from Eagle (ID), falling 10-5 on Wednesday. Issaquah’s hopes of playing in the LLSWS are still alive. Since losing their second game of the tournament, Issaquah has reeled off back-to-back wins, including a convincing 11-1 win over Monument (CO).

Whoever wins this game will get another shot at Eagle in Friday;s championship affair.
