Indiana coach Curt Cignetti on importance of Purdue rivalry
Indiana football coach Curt Cignetti explained his comments at an IU basketball game addressing Purdue and the top teams in the Big Ten Conference.
The Indiana football team hosts Florida International at Memorial Stadium today to start the 2024 college football season.
IU enters the season with a new coach in Curt Cignetti. Last season the Hoosiers finished 3-9 overall and 1-8 in the Big Ten Conference.
With a new coach, the team has had several transfers who could make an impact this year, including Kurtis Rourke at quarterback.

Kurtis Rourke is having a good day with 180 yards passing (15 for 21). Ty Son Lawton leads the rushing attack with 71 yards on 14 attempts and 2 touchdowns. Omar Cooper Jr. has 3 receptions for 45 yards.
