John C. Van Scoter, “Jack”, passed away Friday May 10, 2024, from natural causes, in the same room where he was born 95 years ago on the Van Scoter homestead in the Town of Pomfret.
Visitation will be held at the LARSON-TIMKO Funeral Home, 20 Central Ave., Fredonia, NY, on Saturday June 29, 2024 from 11 am- 1pm, where a funeral service will follow at 1pm. A reception will be held at the Shorewood Country Club, 4958 Shorewood Dr., Dunkirk, NY, from 2-4 pm following the funeral service. A complete obituary will be forthcoming next week.
