Listen Now! Who will go first in the NBA Draft? How about Bronny James? NBA expert weighs in

Who will go first in the 2024 NBA Draft?

Will it be Zaccharie Risacher from JL Bourg of the LNB Pro A French league?

Or perhaps Alex Sarr of Perth in the Australian National Basketball League?

Maybe it will be someone else.

The draft is set to take place Wednesday and Thursday, June 26 and 27.

This year, there’s no consensus No. 1 overall pick, like Victor Wembanyama was last year.

Perhaps the Atlanta Hawks will opt to trade out of the top spot.

Who knows?

I certainly don’t. But I do know someone who might.

His name is Jeff Zillgitt and he’s USA Today’s NBA reporter. He just finished covering his 17th NBA Finals, won by the Boston Celtics.

Jeff is the latest guest on “The *State* of Florida Sports Podcast,” powered by the USA Today Network.

While you might not have been paying attention to the LNB Pro A French league or Australian National Basketball League, Jeff has been.

He’ll tell us about the top two prospects, as well as others in contention for the top spots in the draft.

He’ll also give us his thoughts on Bronny James — whether he gets drafted or not — and if he could end up playing with his famous Dad next season.

And he’ll talk about the dominant college basketball force Zach Edey, and why he’s projected to go lower in the first round.

In addition, Jeff will talk about the Miami Heat and Orlando Magic. This is a Florida-based podcast, after all.

And he’ll give us his thoughts about who has the edge to win the NBA championship for the 2024-25 NBA season.

If you’re a fan of the NBA and want to be the most informed on the NBA Draft, then this is the podcast for you.
