By The 2024 Little League World Series gets underway on Wednesday, with the baseball world turning its focus to South Williamsport, Pa., as the best little league teams in the world show their stuff.
The Little League Baseball World Series (LLBWS) separates into two brackets, with 10 U.S.-based teams and 10 from around the world navigating the double-elimination round. The international bracket will play its games (save for the loser’s bracket final) at Little League Volunteer Stadium, a 5,000-seat venue built specifically for LLWS play.
The international bracket champion will take on the last team standing from the U.S. bracket in the Little League World Championship on Sunday, Aug. 25. Should the international team claim victory there, it will be the first time since 2017 that a team from outside the U.S. has won the Little League World Series, when Tokyo Kitasuna Little League beat Lufkin (Texas) Little League 12-2 in five innings.

Little League World Series 2024: How to watch the LLWS
All 38 games at the 2024 Little League World Series, which will run from Aug. 14-25, will be shown on either ESPN, ESPN2 or ABC. Every game of the tournament will stream on ESPN+ and on the ESPN app. Another streaming option includes Fubo, which covers ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC and offers a free trial.
Additionally, the MLB Little League Classic — an official Major League Baseball game between the New York Yankees and Detroit Tigers, played at Historic Bowman Field in Williamsport, Pa. — will be shown on ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes while also streaming on ESPN+ and the ESPN app.

Ten international teams are vying to emerge as the top team from the international side of the Little League World Series bracket — and then win the world championship game on Aug. 25.
