By The SEC went 13-3 this week, with LSU, Texas A&M, and Florida suffering losses in big-time nonconference matchups. The Gators and Aggies lost at home while the Tigers missed an opportunity late in the game to take the lead against USC in Las Vegas.
In the other huge nonconference matchup, Georgia looked dominant against the Clemson Tigers in their neutral site game in Atlanta. Vanderbilt surprised with an upset win over Virginia Tech earning a marquee win for Clark Lea.
Elsewhere, the SEC dominated teams they should have dominated, winning by huge margins across the conference. Well, aside from South Carolina, who struggled with a scrappy Old Dominion team.
