NBC primetime Olympics schedule: What to watch Sunday from Paris Games

There are certain events that help define every Olympic Games, and inevitably the men’s 100-meter dash in track and field finds itself into that conversation. So Sunday, Aug. 4 at the 2024 Paris Olympics promises to be a highlight of this year’s festivities.

The world’s fastest man will be crowned at the Stade de France when the men’s 100-meter final takes place, and American Noah Lyles has his sights set on backing up the considerable amount of hype — some of which he created with his own bravado — surrounding his pursuit of multiple Olympic gold medals in Paris. Men’s and women’s gymnastics finals, as well as a couple swimming relays to wrap up the Olympic action in the pool, are also on the docket.
