1. Hot Pink: Throwback to the Future II

Hot Pink, Brevard’s popular eclectic rock band, returns with “Throwback to the Future II,” a concert featuring song and dance throughout various decades. It will be at Cocoa Village Playhouse, 300 Brevard Ave., at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 28, 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 29, and 2 p.m. Sunday, June 30. Tickets are $35. 2. Summer Fine Arts Theater Workshop student musicals

Brevard Public Schools in cooperation with the Phoenix Foundation of Central Florida presents two musicals featuring high school students from around Brevard. 

  • ‘Catch Me If You Can’: The musical based upon the hit film will be at Satellite High School, 300 Scorpion Court, Satellite Beach, on June 27 and 28 at 7 p.m. and June 29 at 2 p.m. This splashy spectacle follows the high-flying adventures of a globetrotting con artist.   • ‘Shrek the Musical’: Everyone’s favorite ogre is back in the hilarious stage spectacle. The show will be at Titusville High School, 150 Terrier Trail S., Titusville, on June 27 and 28 at 7 p.m. and June 29 at 2 p.m. The show is about Shrek, an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. 3. ‘The Mummy Fractured’ at Surfside Playhouse

The original comedy “The Mummy Fractured” is playing at Surfside Playhouse, 301 Ramp Road, Cocoa Beach, through June 30. The play with music offers a fresh, fun take on the classic horror story of The Mummy. Tickets start at $25. Call 321-783-3127 or visit surfsideplayhouse.com.

4. Swingtimers Vocal Trio concert in Suntree

The Swingtimers Vocal Trio, consisting of Connie Maltby, Diana Sageser and Dave Hutson, will give a free concert at the Suntree/Viera Public Library, 902 Jordan Blass Drive, Melbourne, on Saturday, June 29 at 3 p.m. The program will include “Green Leaves of Summer,” the theme from the movie The Alamo, “San Francisco Bay Blues,” the classic western hit, “Tumbling Tumbleweeds,” a Texas swing song, “Across the Alley from the Alamo,” and a modern love song arranged for the trio, “Make You Feel My Love.” Admission is free. 5. Summer Youth Band concert in Melbourne

Melbourne Municipal Band presents a not-in-the-park picnic concert featuring graduates of their summer youth band music programs at the Melbourne Auditorium, 625 E. Hibiscus Blvd., on Friday, June 28 at 6 p.m. The auditorium will be set up with long tables so attendees can bring a box dinner to enjoy in air-conditioned comfort during or prior to the concert. 6. Cars Under the Stars movie: ‘Puss in Boots: The Last Wish’

The movie “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish” (PG) will be shown at Wickham Park pavilion, 2500 Parkway Drive, Melbourne, on Friday, June 28 at approximately 8:30 p.m. Enjoy the movie from the comfort of your car, with audio available through car stereo and external speakers. 7. Food Truck Friday in Rockledge

The City of Rockledge hosts Food Truck Friday at Rockledge City Hall, 1600 Huntington Lane, on Friday, June 28  from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. A food truck list will be released one week prior to the event. Admission is free. Call 321-221-7540 or visit cityofrockledge.org

8. First City Market in Rockledge

The City of Rockledge hosts this event at the Rockledge City Hub, 530 Barton Blvd., on Saturday, June 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be fresh produce, unique goods curated by local crafters and artisans, food trucks and more. Admission is free. Call 321-221-7540 or visit cityofrockledge.org.
