By The Las Vegas Raiders rookie will miss some more time due to injury
With the No. 44 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Las Vegas Raiders called the name of Oregon offensive lineman Jackson Powers-Johnson.
He has already established himself as a team-first grinder that fans love, but according to reports he he was placed on the physically unable-to-perform list. Joining him were linebacker Darrien Butler and fellow rookie offensive lineman Jacob Johanning.
It is worth noting that they were placed on the active PUP list, which means they won’t have to miss an extended period and could return soon.
Powers-Johnson was able to participate in the minicamp this past month after missing part of the OTAs with a shoulder injury. He also had some issues ahead of the draft. The expectation around the team is he will start at guard this year.
