Resorts World Cruises returns to Taiwan  for a second year in a row with Resorts World One to start her first sailing today from Keelung.

To celebrate the ship’s maiden voyage from Keelung, Resorts World Cruises’ management,  which included its President, Michael Goh; Victoria Hsu, Vice President – Sales and  Captain Johan Bohman of the Resort World One welcomed Lu Zhan You, Vice President  of Administration of the Taiwan International Ports Corporation Limited (TIPC) to officiate the  first sailing with a sold-out cruise of over 3,600 passengers and crew.

The Resorts World One is expected to have 24 sailings during the three months homeport deployment, which will further grow the cruise tourism sector and the local economy across the network chain of  supply from provisioning to bunkering, transportation and more, including the academic  development for the tourism-related industries.

Our sincere thanks go out to the city of Keelung and Kaohsiung, together with the port authorities, travel partners, the media and our customers for  their ongoing support”, said Goh, President, Resorts World Cruises.

“We have taken great length to make each deployment special and to further customize our offerings for  the local market to enhance the overall experience for our passengers from ship to shore”,  he added.

For the Keelung homeport deployment, Resorts World One will showcase exciting and brand new onboard offerings like never before. Passengers can look forward to the ‘Dazzling Departure Party’ that will feature endless excitement with electrifying LIVE performances and entertainment, as well as Resorts World One’s Anime-tion stage performances, pulse-pounding music, setting  the energy for the start of the cruise adventure. Be mesmerized with the amazing stage productions shows like ‘Trustfall’ and ‘Anime-tion’ with awe inspiring choreography, acts and visuals.

Teens onboard will also be thrilled with the ‘Teen Sailors’ program that has been especially curated with loads of fun-filled activities, including personal ship tours, fun games and sports, arts and craft workshops, Karaokes and parties, virtual games and more. Families and friends can also take part in the ship’s new signature ‘Minute Mayhem’ game that will keep passengers entertained.

Passengers will also experience a culinary  adventure spanning the globe with the ship’s  thematic cuisines such as our ‘French Night’,  ‘Japanese Summer’, a special ‘Fisherman Wharf’ BBQ theme party on the open deck and not to be  missed the ‘Okinawan Benimo’ and ‘All about  Matcha’ farewell theme parties.

Resorts World  Cruises also further collaborated with Japan  Agriculture (JA) Okinawa to bring some of its  renowned Wagyu beef on the Resorts World One cruise ship. Between 21 July to 23 August 2024, guests will get the opportunity to participate  in the JA Okinawa Wagyu Beef Cooking Demonstrations for selected cruise departures, as  well as savour authentic Okinawan cuisine prepared using fresh farm-to-table Okinawa local  products at selected onboard specialty restaurants.

The return to homeport in  Keelung and Kaohsiung

With every cruise, passengers embarking  from Keelung or Kaohsiung will feel right at  ‘home’ on the Resorts World One with the  special arrangements and added touches  to the cruising experience. Seafood lovers will be delighted to know that Nagasaki is also known as having the most  variety of fresh seafood in all of Japan.

For the ultimate splash and fun in the sun, Okinawa is the go-to destination in Japan with some of the country’s best beaches and tropical coastlines, natural beauty, rich cultural heritage and delicious  seafood cuisines. The cosmopolitan capital city of Naha is the gateway to the island, showcasing many hallmark attractions from the city’s largest festivals to the vibrant Makishi Public Market to the  Naminoue Beach and spiritual Naminoue  Shrine.

The ship departs twice a week from 12 July – 22 September 2024 to offer roundtrip cruises to  Kyushu and Okinawa in Japan. Passengers can enjoy the 2 Night Okinawa Weekend Getaway  Cruise departing every Friday; and the 5 Night Cruises departing every Sunday from Keelung  to multiple destinations, including to Kumamoto, Kagoshima, Sasebo, Nagasaki, Naha,  Miyakojima, Ishigaki and Motobu. Selected 2 and 4 Night Okinawa Cruises will also be  available from Kaohsiung from 18 August 2024 onwards.
