By Sandra Edwards, 66, of Hanford Bay passed away peacefully on July 17, 2024 at home surrounded by her family.
Sandra was born on July 19, 1957 in Silver Creek, NY, the daughter of the late Santo and Corinne (nee Scarlata) Greco.
Sandra graduated from Silver Creek Central School in 1975. After graduation she married her high school sweetheart Charles Edwards on July 26, 1975 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church in Silver Creek, NY.
Sandra worked at TLC Lake Shore Hospital for 25 years and retired from American Home Patient. She enjoyed hosting Sunday dinners, Holiday dinners, spending time with her family, especially her dog, Oreo and watching HGTV. Sandra spent many years on the Little League and Babe Ruth board and was also known as “team mom”.
Sandra is survived by her beloved husband, Charles Edwards; four loving children, Daniel, Michael (Michelle Whitmore) and Robert (Magaly Lopez) Edwards and Corinne (Gilberto Ortiz) Carlson; six cherished grandchildren Linda (Cody) Cook, Charles Carlson, Daniel Edward Jr., Nathan Carlson, Isabella Ortiz, and Stella Edwards; four great-children Evyana and Maverick Gill, Korra Edwards and Karter Santiago.
She was preceded in death by a sister Linda Greco and son-in law, Mark Carlson
Relatives and friends may call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave. Silver Creek, NY on Monday, July 22, 2024 from 4-7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, 165 Central Ave. Silver Creek, NY at 10 AM. Interment will follow in Mt Carmel Cemetery.
