Texas Tech football vs Washington State score today: Live updates, highlights from Week 2 game

The Texas Tech football team will try to find success on the road this week when the Red Raiders head to Pullman to take on Washington State on Saturday at 9 p.m. on FOX.

The Red Raiders held off Abilene Christian 52-51 in overtime in last week’s season opener but have a lot of questions surrounding its defense that surrendered more than 600 yards of offense to the FCS foe. The Cougars, meanwhile, mauled Portland State for a 70-30 victory in its first game of the season.

Texas Tech is on the road for the only time in its first five games. Tech last won its first road game of the season in 2018 when the Red Raiders bested 15th-ranked Oklahoma State 41-17. This is the first meeting between the Red Raiders and Cougars in 60 years, last squaring off on Nov. 14, 1964.
