247 – President Lula (PT) celebrated via X, formerly Twitter, this Tuesday (25) the release of journalist Julian Assange, founder of WikiLeaks, who has left prison in the United Kingdom and is already on his way home to Australia.

“The world is a little better and less unjust today. Julian Assange is free after 1,901 days in prison. His release and return home, albeit belatedly, represent a democratic victory and a triumph for the struggle for press freedom,” the president posted.
