What to know about David Sacks

Sacks, originally from South Africa, is a close friend of Elon Musk and worked alongside him at the digital payment company PayPal.

He partially funded Musk’s 2022 acquisition of the social media platform X, formerly Twitter, The New York Times reported.

Sacks has invested in companies including AirBnB, Eventbrite, Facebook, Houzz, Lyft, Postmates, Reddit, SpaceX and Uber and is the co-host of the Silicon-Valley oriented technology and politics podcast “All-In.”

He’s donated to multiple Republican candidates in the past including Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ and said on Bloomberg TV “He was the first governor to stop these insane lockdowns… I respect that.”

When and where is the Republican National Convention? 

The Republicans’ convention will take place over four days, from July 15-18 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. 

The Fiserv Forum, home of the Milwaukee Bucks, will be the main venue for the RNC. 

There also will be events at the nearby University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Panther Arena and the Baird Center.
