The Chautauqua Watershed Conservancy has announced that its annual Charity Pro-Am Golf Tournament will be on Monday, June 24 at Chautauqua Golf Club.

All proceeds will benefit the organization’s land conservation and watershed education programs aimed at improving the health and vitality of Chautauqua Lake and its surrounding watershed.

Snug Harbor Marine is the tournament’s presenting sponsor for the sixth year in a row. Its sales showroom is located at 2374 West Lake Road (Route 394) in Ashville with docking and complete marine service available at their 5822 Snug Harbor Road location in Mayville.

The tournament welcomes both male and female amateur golfers, and each team of four will include a visiting PGA professional from the Western New York and Northwestern Pennsylvania areas, making for an exciting day of golf. The Pro-Am will have a two best ball format with an 11 AM shotgun start, lunch served on the course, and an awards reception at the club’s Double Eagle banquet facility following play, with dinner provided by Chautauqua Institution’s Athenaeum Hotel.

In addition to playing in the tournament, many sponsorship opportunities are available for both businesses and individuals, a portion of which is tax deductible.
