Winona Ryder, born Winona Laura Horowitz on Oct. 29, 1971, gained fame in the late 1980s and 1990s with critically acclaimed performances in films such as “Lucas” (1986), “Beetlejuice” (1988), “Heathers” (1989), “Edward Scissorhands” (1990) and “Girl, Interrupted” (1999). She received two Oscar nominations during her career: in 1994 for “The Age of Innocence” and in 1995 for “Little Women.”

Ryder made a comeback in the mid-2000s with roles in “A Scanner Darkly” (2006) and “Black Swan” (2010). In 2016, she became Joyce Byers in the Netflix series “Stranger Things,” which has earned her multiple award nominations, including a Golden Globe.

Throughout the years, Ryder has shown her gothic-inspired style at high-profile events, almost always sporting monochromatic looks in somber shades. On red carpets, she has worn Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana and Armani looks. Ryder is also considered one of Marc Jacobs’ muses and has been featured in many of his brand’s campaigns.
