By Xbox Live Core Servers Were Down On Tuesday

Xbox Live is facing a major outage on Tuesday. Downdetector, a platform that tracks such online issues, showed that more than 30,000 users raised reports. Gamers across the world said that they are facing a 0x87dd0033 sign in error. “We are aware that some users have been disconnected from Xbox Live. We’re investigating! Please follow here and on our status page for updates,” the company initially said on X, platform formerly known as Twitter.
While the platform is down, several users questioned when the live core servers be back up. In an update, Xbox said: “Our investigation is taking longer than expected, thank you for your patience and reports! We’ll continue to update here and on our status page.”
It later thanked users for their patience. On the Xbox support page, the company said: “You may not be able to sign-in to your Xbox profile, may be disconnected while signed in, or have other related problems. Features that require sign-in like most games, apps and social activity won’t be available.”
Xbox has not provided a precise timeline yet.
Meanwhile, gamers posted hilarious reactions about the outage. “The ONE day that I actually wanted to sit down and play games the god damn Xbox servers are down,” one person tweeted.
“Sit down to play Xbox and the servers are down. Can’t even sign in and play offline,” another one added.
“me checking twitter to make sure Xbox live is down for others as well, and it’s not just me,” a third person tweeted.
